Kayla greeted us upon our arrival, our daughter was hungry and experiencing a bit of anxiety at being in the hospital again. Our daughter has a complicated medical history and experiences PTSD at the sight of nurses and doctors. Kayla was patient and kind and took the time to listen to really get to know her. Kayla worked with our daughter and was able to have her 'make the decisions.' Kayla made taking medication fun for her, it was their game. By the end of the visit, our daughter was standing up in her crib leaning on Kayla like an old friend. She did not cry for the first time ever while in the hospital.
