Kayla took care of our father the evening shift of the night he passed away as well as the two nights prior. She is a wonderfully skilled nurse and was possibly the best person suited to care for my dad while guiding our family through this difficult life transition. Kayla was loving, compassionate, and caring. She listened, was responsive, and communicated all the while holding my dad’s and our hands.

Most importantly, Kayla ensured our father was completely comfortable medically, spiritually, and emotionally.  I am so incredibly grateful to have had Kayla with us. She calmly knew what to do at a time when we didn’t. I wish I had better words to express the extent of gratitude in our hearts for her. She is deserving of all that is good and Saint Thomas is so very lucky to have her on its care team.
