Kayla was our assigned nurse as we came into the Labor and Delivery Unit. Well, my wife progressed very quickly, and within 5 minutes, she was pushing the baby out! There was no time, and the doctor was not close enough to make it. Kayla took charge and delivered our baby. The delivery was even smoother than our previous three children when a doctor was present. We felt so at ease with Kayla that it was the best birth we have ever experienced. The joy that Kayla brought into the room was such a blessing to me and my wife. Due to a life-and-death experience we had with our firstborn, my wife chose to do an unmedicated birth for our fourth child. This was to overcome the trauma of our first birth experience. Well, Kayla made overcoming the past possible. Kayla is what other nurses should aspire to be!
