The DAISY Award is given to Kayla Risk for her compassion and caring, not only to her patients but to her fellow coworkers. She is not only on the DAISY committee but comes in after her shift, on her days off, etc., to go through the nominations and help to choose a deserving nurse for this award. Kayla selflessly gives of her time and always overlooks multiple nominations for herself to pick someone else. Every quarter, Kayla receives at least one nomination.
