November 2022 Honoree
Kayla Seymour, RN
The whole ICU unit was fantastic with my mother who suffered a stroke and was in the ICU for days. The staff were all amazing. My mom would not be with us today without them. One nurse stood out; her name is Kayla Seymour. Kayla was extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. Kayla was my mother's nurse for the first few days of my mother's stay here. Kayla was always available for questions and provided quality care and guidance for my mother and for her family. She reassured me my mother was going in the right direction. I knew when I left my mother's bedside she was in good hands and was being taken care of. Kayla was in no hurry to leave the room with my mother. She made sure her needs were met and my questions were answered. During such an uncertain time, Kayla was a blessing. She is a true professional that cares about people and a real professional in her field. Thank you, Kayla, and the nurses, doctors, and surgeons who took care of my mother, but especially Kayla.
Thank you, Kayla, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
