Kayla went above and beyond in my mom's care after my mom had RNY surgery. Kayla was kind, funny, attentive, informative and personalized my mom's care beyond our expectations. We connected with her instantly. We thought it was pretty funny that our last names are different by one letter. Neither last name is common either. My mom came first as soon as Kayla would walk in the door. If we had to use the call button, she was in the room within a minute. We didn't need to use the call button except for a couple of times because of how often Kayla was checking in on my mom. She was super encouraging when my mom was up and walking around. She would laugh at our weird jokes and was just the best nurse we have ever had. My mom felt the most comfortable and most confident in herself when Kayla was here. Before Kayla's shift ended, she made sure my mom had everything she needed to make it through the night as peacefully and easily as possible. We absolutely loved Kayla.
