Kayla wanted to do something nice for the family, so with the families permission, she ordered a device to record the heartbeat of the patient. Then she crocheted them a heart pillow and put the device inside so that their family could always hear their loved one's heartbeat. She did this with no expectation of return and only with the desire to make sure they had something to help them through the hard time. The family shared the pillow with other members of the family so Kayla ended up making many more so each member of the family would have their own pillow and device.
