Kayla Spoonemore, ADN

Kayla was there when I first came into the ER, and she was there again when I returned. She stood by my side when I received my cancer diagnosis. In those overwhelming moments, she took the time to truly listen—to ease my fears, comfort me, and remind me that I was cared for and loved. She was the last nurse with me before I was moved to the floor, and I can’t fully express how much her presence meant to me.

Kayla is truly an angel who has walked with me through this difficult journey. With tears in my eyes, I can honestly say how grateful I am that she was my nurse each time. I would love to recognize her in a special way for going far beyond her duties—she became a personal angel to me. She remembered me, welcomed me back with warmth, and treated me as if I were her own. She is truly precious.
