There was an older patient Kayla had that day. He was in a very bad mood. He told her, “I think I’m dying.” Kayla told him, “I can see you are really scared right now. It’s ok to feel that way. Fear can be overwhelming when something does not feel right.” He did calm down. Kayla stood there telling him how well he is doing with therapy and how proud his family is, while giving him his meds. He told her how great she was. How any time he felt stressed or he felt like he was dying, Kayla was there to help calm him down.

Kayla would even check on him as she walked through the gym. She went out of her way to check on him. Kayla is very compassionate, very kind-hearted, and very supportive of all her patients. She treats all of her patients like they are family. She takes the time to reassure everyone in the room. Even when the family/friends are worried too. Kayla is very phenomenal.
