On Saturday, at the beginning of Kaylee’s shift & my mother’s ICU journey is when we first met.  Kaylee’s care for my mom was as if it could have been her mom. She was so loving, caring & professional. She informed us of everything they were doing for my mom & why- in hopes of helping her recover.  

My mother ended up on a ventilator, Kaylee helped make my entire family feel like we were her only patient & we were family.  Her love, her care and her knowledge were indescribable & outstanding!  The care my mom & our family received was what the medical field should be. 

I’m probably not doing very well describing why Kaylee is a DAISY Nurse.  All I know is that my experience with Kaylee is one I hope and pray all families can experience if they have to have critical care.  

Sadly, my mom passed away. She was not only surrounded by her husband, children, and grandchildren but, also Kaylee. Not just her nurse but our family’s angel through this difficult time. Her compassion for mom & our family was such a blessing.  Kaylee is 1000% deserving of a DAISY!
