She cares, loves her job, and it shows. She works hard to make sure everything is accomplished for each of her patients.
As a retired nurse, I've worked with many nurses. As a patient, I've received care from many nurses. I first met Kaylee in December 2024 and present day April 2025 as my Cardiac Rehab nurse. For four months, I've observed her being kind, considerate, compassionate, and caring in her actions and interactions with her patients. She is conscientious in making sure her patients' needs are met by adjusting the machines for their comfort. She answers all their and my questions. Makes sure o2, BP leads for heart are placed and recorded. She records my weight and blood sugar every session. She records difficulty breathing and exercise difficulty by using a chart asking how we feel. Monitors our heart rate. Encourages us to take rest periods when she observes us being tired. Her caring monitoring of the heart makes me feel comfortable knowing Kaylee is a competent nurse. After exercise, Kaylee retakes vital signs and records. When my blood sugar is low, she gets me juice, which I appreciate, before leaving Cardiac Rehab. She makes sure each patient is escorted safely to their vehicle, making sure each person is safe. If she needs help, she calls for assistance. Kaylee impressed me with her smile and being friendly with all her patients. She welcomes holding the door open and helping those who use walkers and wheelchairs. She cares, loves her job, and it shows. She works hard to make sure everything is accomplished for each of her patients. Kaylee is an exceptional nurse. I feel Kaylee deserves this special DAISY Award.
