Our baby was transferred to Children's from a different hospital and Kaylee was our first nurse when we arrived. We were so scared and had no idea what to think of what was going on and were still unsure of what was wrong with our baby. Getting our daughter settled in at Children's was quite a process, but Kaylee and the rest of the team were always very calm and communicated everything that they were doing with us. Her demeanor helped us to remain calm and have some hope that everything was going to be ok. Kaylee made sure we were comfortable in what would be our new home for the next few days and always kept us in the loop with our daughter's plan of care. We were so relieved to see her again as our nurse over the next few days. She almost became like a friend to us, always happily greeting us and being so cheerful, which helped us to feel more positive throughout our stay. We trusted her fully with the care of our baby and were so glad to have her there to walk us through a very scary time in our lives.
