Kaylee is an amazing new nurse. She works in the Emergency Department and on the Pediatric Unit. She changes her schedule to meet the needs of the patients. Kaylee was recognized by her director and peers on the Pediatric Unit as a compassionate nurse providing outstanding care to all the patients. Kaylee was caring for a newly tracheostomy toddler all week. The parents were now ready to take their baby home after Kaylee's outstanding teaching. The day of discharge was her scheduled day off but Kaylee came in on her day off to be with the family.
