Kayleigh 'Kay' Estes, BSN, RN

Since day one of hire, Kay has been a fresh breath of air and a shining light on our unit! She reminds everyone daily how amazing they are with her voice and words! (Every shift, she leaves notes of encouragement and nice thoughts for everyone working!!) Today, I noticed that she has been in one room a lot. I went to check on her, and she is sitting, detangling the patient's hair (completely matted). Not only is she helping with the hair, but I heard plenty of laughter and great conversation. She is an amazing nurse and an amazing person; the world would be a better place if there were more Kays in it. And our unit is definitely better with her!!!!
