February 2023 Honoree
Kayley Williams, RN
We had a very complex patient who was deaf. Every other nurse that took care of him would place him in restraints and give him Ativan. When Kayley came on, she started to use a whiteboard and iPad to talk to the patient. She was able to re-orient him and never placed him in restraints. She also did not give any Ativan or Zyprexa. Because of her, our patient was able to improve and get the help he needed. We need more nurses like Kayley.
Thank you, Kayley, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
