Kaylin Harper, RN

Kaylin was extraordinarily thorough and compassionate in her nursing care. Due to these endlessly unprecedented times and nursing shortages, her floor was minimally staffed on both occasions when she was assigned to me but she responded promptly and with a smile every time. She recognized the stress my injury placed on my family and ensured I was able to maintain communication with my two young children (ages 8 and 11) to reassure them that their daddy was going to be okay. In general, she was a source of reassurance and stability during a very scary time. And on top of that compassion, her medical care and attention were impeccable. My wound was severe and painful but, compared to her peers, her ability to complete my dressing changes was less painful and traumatic.
