Kaylin Mahoney almost seems like a Physician’s Assistant to me. She is not only skilled, knowledgeable and fantastic at patient. She is the heart & face of Baptist Hospital and the doctors who depend on her decisions during the patients stay. She converses in love and even when my mom wanted peanut butter and crackers at 1:15 am, she prepared it for her. Mom felt safe, informed and tremendously cared for by her. She prays for Mom and has even stopped by daily at the end of her shift to come check on Mom in her private room on the 9th floor! I am writing this for my Mom who shakes too much to write it herself. I can safely say Mom loves this wonderful nurse who seems exceptional to me. We hope not to need Baptist Health or Kaylin again, but if we do, she will be the nurse requested if we are in a critical situation again.
