Kaylynn Heard immediately pulled the big-size reclining chair into the room and showed me how to make the bed that I called "5 Star Hotel Bed!" Slender, petite, but strong and full of energy! I was very amazed! It was so fun and such a joy to watch her work. She is also my counselor. After caring for my husband, she would always ask if I needed anything, so sometimes, even at 1 am or 3 am, I asked her an important question, such as why I should not give my husband a lot of water. Why does he need to drink other soft drinks? That helped keep the sodium level in a good balance, etc. Why did my husband eat so much and he could not have a BM... Why do hospitals not seem to share medical records with each other? Her answers were calm and comforting, and that helped my emotional feelings. I can tell she cares for my husband and for me, too. Her compassion shows clearly. This nurse deserves to be recognized.
