We would like to thank all the nurses on the Chemotherapy Daycase for their compassionate tender care but the nurse who really stood out for us was Kealy.
We first met Kealy at the very start of the chemo journey. Kealy put my dad at ease, explained the journey and what to expect. On my dad's last chemo session Kealy took care of my dad once again her compassion and care were excellent! We laughed and joked as my dad pulled her leg, it was lovely to see my dad smile!
Kealy gave my dad a huge hug at the end of his chemo session. That for us spoke volumes! She showed such empathy, care, and compassion, a very emotional moment after enduring months of chemo.
So, on behalf of my dad and I, we would like to thank Kealy in a very special way for her special care - for a nurse who gave a little extra! She made my dad feel like he had conquered the world! This is why Kealy is a true DAISY Nurse. She is Extraordinary!
