Keilia is an exceptional teacher! She was very subtle in the way she was teaching her orientee. We almost didn't realize it was happening. She was never pushy, always respecting my decisions. When I was nervous about starting Pitocin, she assured me that I was strong enough to push through the pain. She held my hand through laboring and contractions and hugged me when I cried. When it was all said and done, she made sure that I knew how to care for myself and that my pain was tolerable. She never pushed pain medicine during labor knowing that I wanted to go unmedicated.
