Keisha stood there for easily 20 to 30 minutes rubbing my daughter's back helping soothe her as she lay in the bassinet.
I would like to provide a few words of appreciation, my wife gave birth recently to our second daughter. During our time in postpartum we were blessed to be helped by this wonderful RN, Keisha. If I had to put her care and actions into words it would be “Heaven Sent”! I’ve never experienced the care, empathy, knowledge, concern, compassion, and kindness by any nurse. My wife was the patient and I was blown away by her care. Every time Keisha stepped foot in our room she was wonderful. Explaining everything that she was going to do before she started, giving us information that would protect my wife and daughter. She explained every test, every tag, every safety measure, and every medication before doing anything. When she was in the room I felt a sense of safety towards my daughter and wife. I wish she was our nurse during our entire stay. Unfortunately for us she only worked one night shift and left such a huge impact and impression on me and my wife. My daughter probably about 2 days old at this time was crying and not falling asleep. My wife was out of it from her C Section delivery, it was approximately 3 am, and I was half asleep myself and Keisha walked into the room. Keisha stood there for easily 20 to 30 minutes rubbing my daughter's back helping soothe her as she lay in the bassinet. I was very impressed, saying to myself is this normal? I wish we had the honor of having Keisha as our nurse for the duration of our stay. She was truly amazing! I wish I could again thank her personally, but at least I can show my appreciation through the DAISY Award. Thank you Keisha you will forever be remembered by me and my wife.

Note: This is Keisha's 2nd DAISY Award!
