My family and I had the best experience during our stay in the Labor and Delivery Unit at this hospital. My sister had a hard labor, and her nurse, Keisha, treated her like she was her own sister. Keisha is the best! I’m a first-time mother and Keisha stayed with me all through my labor, she helped me the whole time. I struggled with labor, and she gave me guidance and tips by explaining the admission process, plan of care, how to use the birthing ball that was new for me, and she was going to assist me at delivery time by practicing pushing. She was so sweet and stayed with me when I struggled, no judgment. Keisha had patience and encouraged me to keep going. Keisha is an amazing nurse, and for that, I recommend her for the DAISY Award.
