Anyone who meets or looks at Keith can tell that he is a big, strong, tough guy. He is a force to be reckoned with. As a result, whether traveling or working, his physique often invites unsolicited nicknames like Thor, Hercules, etc. While amusing to his co-workers and friends, on occasions, this gets pretty old. But he always just deals with it in his normal, good-natured manner.
Beyond outward appearances, in a short period of time, what becomes more evident is that Keith is an amazing nurse. He is skilled and knowledgeable, which makes him an exceptional clinician. Perhaps more importantly, despite that gruff exterior, he is an extremely compassionate caregiver. That is why his patients always love him, and he consistently receives the highest patient satisfaction scores.
His work ethic is exemplary. He strives for excellence and consistently goes above and beyond. This is why he is one of those rare "go-to" individuals that you can always count on. Whether dealing with someone who has become unruly, someone who is crashing, or someone who is a "full code," Keith is a nurse you want on your team!
