Kelciera was caring for one of our patients who has had a prolonged ICU stay after a traumatic brain injury. The patient's grandfather asked to speak to me and wanted to tell me, that although his granddaughter always receives good care, Kelciera was exceptional. He stated her compassion was overwhelming. She took extra time during his granddaughter's bath to braid her hair and change her outfit. She made the family feel that she went above and beyond the requirements of her job to make them feel cared for.
Kelciera always takes exceptional care of the patients in the PICU. She often has busy two patient assignments and strives to provide extra care for her patients regardless.
