Keli Thomas, RN

Keli Thomas, during my wife's struggles to stay alive, was a godsend. She demonstrated unbelievable people skills in calming our fears and explaining what we might expect with each twist and turn of my wife’s heart failure. After being given the words "terminal condition" and "call all the family in", Keli never gave up and encouraged us every step of the way. From planning my wife's funeral the first night with our kids and grandkids through watching my wife during the night steadily improve. Keli and I actually got down on our knees and prayed for the healing of the Holy Spirit to heal my wife. In answer to our prayers the very next night we were planning our 55th wedding anniversary. Keli was there like a family member. The "night of tears", the first night, when my wife's life was ebbing away Keli and I got down on our knees and fervently prayed and received God's intervention. Keli went above and beyond to make our family comfortable and gave my wife reassurance in a time that hope was lost. We will never forget this angel of mercy at the Baptist Golden Triangle Hospital.
