During my recent visit to the emergency department, Kelley showed me compassion and kindness. She did not judge me for the way I looked, she took the time to know me as a person. She connected with me, and we shared our tattoos and the stories about them. Kelley spent time with me and made me feel safe during a very stressful event in my life. Kelley treated me with dignity and respect and made me feel like I was the most important and cared for patient in the emergency department.
