Kelley Minnick, BSN, RN

I brought my daughter into the ER recently. From start to finish, Kelley was absolutely amazing. When Kelley came into the room, she acknowledged not only my daughter but me as well. She introduced herself, shared what was relayed to her from triage and then asked clarifying questions. She explained everything she was going to do, and she asked permission from my daughter if it was okay. She continuously kept us updated on next steps. Kelley checked in with my daughter multiple times to ensure she was comfortable, offering a warm blanket and something to drink.

Kelley communicated everything to the physician. I've been to the IC with my daughter three times in the last three months, and this was by far the best experience we've had, even though the circumstances weren't great. Kelley is a role model for all nurses. It's obvious she genuinely cares, and she exceeded all of our expectations. Kelley, I hope this is not your first nomination and I know it won't be your last. I can't express enough how much we appreciate having you as our nurse. You are EXTRAORDINARY!
