Our fears about my induction were immediately quashed when we met Kelley. Even though it was early in the morning, she had a smile on her face and greeted us as if we were her family. She seemed as genuinely excited about bringing our son into the world as we were. Throughout her shift, Kelley never once seemed rushed or like she needed to be somewhere else. Whether she was in our room or taking care of other patients, we felt like her top priority.
Kelley did a great job explaining things and making us feel like we could truly ask whatever questions we had. She also was sure to repeat things — without us asking — to ensure that we understood every step of our care. If she said she would do something, she always followed through promptly. We won't forget her!
