Kelli spent 20 minutes of her valuable time explaining the patient's care and encouraging the spouse to remain optimistic.
Kelli always has a positive attitude and is willing to go out of her way to assist physicians, patients, and staff. Today I had a covid patient's spouse call sobbing because she was worried about her spouse and his increased Oxygen needs. I approached Kelli for an update to pass on to the spouse and Kelli proceeded to take off her PPE and come to the phone, she spent 20 minutes of her valuable time explaining the patient's care and encouraging the spouse to remain optimistic. The voice of a well-educated professional reassuring them that best care is given by all and has their best interest at heart means the world to family. I am thankful we have people like Kelli who put their lives on the line to save the lives of others and do so with a sweet spirit and heart for others.
