Kelli Jo Hammack 2, RN, BSN

Kelli Jo is always available and willing to listen to concerns that the staff may have and puts in a genuine effort to make our problems better. She has also come in many times on the night shift to make sure that we get breaks and help out on the floor. As for me specifically, she has listened to my frustrations that I have had with feeling unmotivated and feeling like I am not the best nurse that I can be, and she brainstorms ideas that may help me. Then, she actually puts those ideas into action, such as giving me opportunities to cross-train in other departments and encouraging me to pursue certifications that interest me. Without Kelli Jo, I feel like I would have been burned out by bedside nursing and may have gone somewhere else, but knowing that she has my back, I feel like I can stay at my job for a very long time.
