Kelli cared for my mother and me on the last day of my mother's life on Earth. Throughout the day, she kept me informed of my mother's status, educated me about DNR options and helped me communicate effectively with the medical team. Because she alerted me when my mother's blood pressure dropped to a critical level, I was able to be at my mother's side as she left this life. After her passing, Kelli asked if she could pray with me, and her praying meant more to me than I can express. She continued to care for me and those who gathered until we and (I assume) my mother's body left the room. As awful as it was to lose my mother in the hospital, Kelli's exceptional nursing was a blessing on Mom's last day.
