Kelli McNichol, BSN, MSNCB

In caring for one of our hospice patients, Kelli was recognized for her excellent care by the patient's wife. The spouse of this patient could not say enough good things about Kelli and how impressive her empathy was.....she spoke to the patient like a person, and made sure he was comfortable. The patient was young, and Kelli took the time to interact with him, and on occasion would sing with him and dancing in his room. One of the patient's last wishes was to go bowling again, and Kelli made that happen along with the Palliative Care Team. Kelli took the patient to a hallway where the team had set up bowling pins, and Kelli held his arm and steadied him while he threw his last bowling ball. She helped fulfill this patient's last wish and Kelli deserves to know what a difference she makes in the lives of her patients and their families.
