Kellie was nominated by a patient on her unit that said she went above and beyond to make her first experience with motherhood a lot less scary and even enjoyable. The patient said, "I immediately felt a bond with her because I could tell how much she cared about the wellbeing of me and my baby. She came to see me anytime I asked for her and stayed longer than she needed. She also helped my husband feel more comfortable holding and burping our baby."
