Kellie consistently goes above and beyond for her patients. She shows compassion and empathy to every patient. She is a great role model to all her peers. She precepts new nurses, passing along her knowledge and wisdom to others so that they can also give exceptional care. She brings that knowledge and experience to every situation. Kellie always has a positive attitude and is always smiling. Kellie is an easy person to like with her smile and care for others. Kellie picks up extra hours and covers shifts. She is a really great person to work with, and I enjoy her working on labor and delivery. Her patients appreciate her positive attitude, support, and compassion. She is a great labor coach and an asset in emergency situations. Kellie also supports the patients' families during the labor process and educates them on the care of a newly postpartum mother and newborn. Kellie uses the nursing process in every way and follows the policies and procedures of the unit. Kellie deserves this recognition of a DAISY Award. She is one of the most exceptional and compassionate people I know!
