Mrs. Schroering remained calm and never made me feel bad.

When I first met Mrs. Schoering, I had barely passed Fundamentals. I had to redo my patient assessments. I was so scared of failing but Mrs. Schoering was kind and reassuring. My biggest goof-up has been my reading my schedule wrong and showing up at the wrong place. But Mrs. Schroering remained calm and never made me feel bad.

The following semester my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was not sure if I would be able to continue nursing school. Mrs. Schroering allowed me to miss part of my class so that I could go with her to her first oncology appointment. Luckily her prognosis is good and I am now in my last few weeks of nursing school. I appreciate all my professors but I am most thankful to have had Mrs. Schoering to guide and support me.
