Kellie is an amazingly compassionate and forthright midwife who really puts her heart and soul into doing her absolute best for every woman in her care. She is strong, knowledgeable, supportive, and a fantastic advocate who is not afraid to tell it like it is.
During my pregnancy, she made me feel comfortable and listened to. She helped to alleviate my fears and advocated for my medical and mental health needs when I was unable to do so on my own. She delivered my daughter in April 2019 in a calm and professional manner and for the first time (after 3 other births) I felt listened to, respected, and not fearful. She gave me my first experience with a midwife I felt I could trust completely.
In the weeks after birth, Kellie checked in on me regularly because she was perceptive enough to sense that something wasn't quite right. Eventually, she stepped in to ensure I accessed the care I required. Because I had very little support, she took me to emergency herself and watched my children temporarily on the maternity unit while I was assessed by emergency.
During my recovery, she continued to support and encourage me. All of which was well above and beyond the call of duty but was instrumental to me getting the help that I and my family needed.
Kellie's compassion is incredible and her commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for the women in her care and babies she delivers is second to none. Kellie goes above and beyond. She puts her heart and soul into everything she does and is nothing short of Amazing!
