Mrs. Kelly Ament has been an extraordinary mentor, guiding and inspiring me both in the classroom and throughout my journey as a nursing student.  As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, she brings a wealth of experience and dedication to quality care that deeply impacts her students.  Through her hard work and commitment, she achieved a landmark accomplishment- ensuring that every student in her class advanced to the next semester, a first in the school’s history. 

Mrs. Ament’s dedication goes far beyond scheduled hours.  She has spent weekends meeting with me, providing reassurance, practical tools, and guidance that improved my performance and renewed my confidence.  Her unwavering support was instrumental in keeping me in the program, and I attribute much of my success to her influence.  Learning from Mrs. Ament has been invaluable, instilling in me both confidence and a strong sense of purpose.

Beyond academics, Mrs. Ament actively serves the community with philanthropic outreach.  She volunteers with Girls on the Run, helping to empower young girls by fostering emotional, social, and physical skills through positive, research-based programs.  Her compassion and commitment extend into all aspects of her life, making her a true role model.

In clinical settings, Mrs. Ament encourages us to develop our clinical judgment and creativity, aiming to enhance patient care and outcomes.  She supports new ideas, promotes evidence-based practice, and has fostered in me a genuine love for nursing- not just as a career but as a lifelong passion.  Her approach makes clinical an enriching experience and something I genuinely look forward to.
