Kelly does "super human" work every time that she comes to work. Her positive attitude in contagious among the staff and all who meet her. She is exceptionally skilled and calm in crisis situations with our patients. Kelly is one of the most knowledgable nurses that I know. Her compassion and love for the kids as well as her coworkers is nothing short of amazing.
A prime example is the way that she has a birthday celebration every year for our kids on Dr. Seuss's birthday. She decorates the unit with balloons and Dr. Seuss books for each and every kid that comes throught the center that day. The kids absolutely light up when they see this.
She is the example of an excellent nurse and person in my eyes. She also purchases toothbrushes for each of our dental patients and donates them to the kids She is a great person to know and work with. Kelly makes every day a positive one.
