Every day Kelly works in a demanding, fast-paced clinic but is always willing to pause, answer questions from her team or jump in to help. What also impresses me is her tremendous compassion for all of her patients. She offers reassurance and guidance during the darkest hours faced by patients and their loved ones. She connects on a level few people are able and helps them to navigate through the nightmare that is cancer. Her patients view her as one of the family and trust her implicitly. She advocates for them by working behind the scenes to get tests scheduled and coordinated in respect of their time and resources. She treats them with care and regard always.

I am incredibly fortunate to have the privilege of working with Kelly. Her knowledge, experience, empathy, and caring are true assets to the care of our patients. In the complex environment that is cancer care, knowledge about medical and surgical treatments is critical for managing and supporting patients. She is curious and inquisitive, always working to expand her knowledge and understanding. These skills make her exceptionally adept at educating and supporting our patients, to help them anticipate potential issues and troubleshoot these should they arise. Her easy and caring demeanor ensure that patients feel trust to reach out to her for advice and information. Kelly's caring and empathy are unbounded. She genuinely feels for our patients going through difficult times and works hard to find ways to help them through. Even after the many years, we have worked together, I remain awed by her empathy and caring. She is a superstar!
