My terminally ill mother was hospitalized and was cared for by Kelly, who went above and beyond her required duties to provide compassionate care. My mother subsequently died in December and in January my father was hospitalized and was fortunate to have Kelly as his nurse. She not only provided the same excellent quality of care but also sat with and cried with my father as he talked about my mother. Attending to both the medical needs as well as the emotional/mental needs of a patient is part of what blossoms a NURSE into a "DAISY Nurse"!
