D missed her high school graduation while in the hospital. Kelly made sure she had a cap and gown and had one of our attendings sign a diploma for her. She even got her a congratulations cake from dietary. At shift change, Kelly walked around the unit with the patient in a cap and gown playing Pomp and Circumstance. D was beaming! Kelly also brought around a card for the nurses to sign for D.
