,
BS, RN
Observation Unit
CHI St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital
Kelly serves as a charge nurse on the OBS unit and has been a valuable asset throughout the pandemic. During this challenging time, she has worked side-by-side with her team to navigate the numerous challenges, all the while ensuring our COVID patients receive the best of care.
She is a team player who is always helping others. She has the ability to troubleshoot any barrier and present a reasonable solution. Kelly is a strong patient advocate and strong leader. As team members from across the hospital floated to OBS as PPE coaches, hands or nursing, she was able to set them at ease, introduce them to the unit and their role.
We have received numerous compliments from nurses throughout the hospital on what phenomenal team work there is while Kelly is in charge. She continually goes above and beyond, works extra to help her team during staffing crisis and serves on various committees for the unit, the monitored POD and the hospital.
Thank you, Kelly, for your contribution to our team, to CHI St. Joseph and to the community in which you serve!
