Kelly is always willing to go the extra mile for her patients. One of her patients had stopped eating and drinking after one of his surgeries. He needed to have a feeding tube inserted. Kelly made the patient a special milkshake and coaxed him into taking several sips. The little boy was comforted by Kelly’s presence and would always laugh and smile when she came into his room. Kelly has a very creative fun-loving spirit and goes the extra mile to give her patients added attention and excellent care.

Kelly also took the initiative to help a recently immigrated family with the complex medical care of their infant. She coordinated translation services and discharge teaching with the family, and came in on her day off to provide consistency with the family’s education. Kelly did an excellent job communicating with the medical team.
