Kelly Disher, MSN, RN-NIC, NPD-BC

Kelly is the educator in the NICU. We have been exceptionally busy in the NICU the last month and with the very high census and acuity, we are also extremely short-staffed. Not only does Kelly keep up with all of her educational duties she has daily, but we also see her in the unit continually; feeding babies, hanging IV fluids, or helping with an admission without us asking. This past weekend she brought us homemade goods (for day shift and night shift) and stayed to help us take care of babies on her day off. There are many days we could not have made it without her help. She is the definition of a DAISY Nurse Leader.
