Kelly went to bat for my dad and treated him with respect. My dad loves to bowl and is in 2 leagues. He had his stroke a week before his bowling banquet where his team took 1st place. When he moved to the rehab floor, he told the nurses that he needed to go to his banquet that Monday. Kelly took time to talk with him and recognized how much it meant to him. After talking with me to find out more information, she took that info to her morning meeting and went to bat for him, getting him a day pass to attend his banquet. Kelly was also very respectful of his privacy and dignity. For example, Kelly helped him get to the bathroom, got him settled, and gave him privacy at a time when he needed to feel like he had control of something. Thank you, Kelly!
