Kelly Gee, BSN, RN

Miss Kelly exhibited genuine care and concern for my well-being while under her care. She was attentive and took the extra steps necessary to work between several doctors and the transition of changing medications in the midst of several a busy load of patients in her care. Although I expected to be a more transitionary stay, trapped gas issues required a more lengthy stay which allowed me to be cared for by Kelly over several days. A true consummate professional with a caring heart who also showed her human side. This provides confidence from us as patients.

I shared that my dog just had spinal surgery and was at home waiting for me. This offered a chance for me to also see another side of her compassion with her beloved pup. A small thing like a personal connection with the patient helps us also to remember although our needs are on the receiving end, we should also extend a courtesy to our caregivers even in moments of pain and our frustration with our healing. She was always attentive to my care and showed outstanding, compassionate care. I nominate Miss Kelly for her dedication to her patients and amazing multitasking teamwork.
