Recently I had a procedure done. Kelly did my IV. She was so fast at it, I was impressed. No pain, no bleeding. Even the Anesthesiologist was in the room and he said he can’t believe how fast she was at it. Kelly made me feel like I was a family member she was taking care of. She checked on me often, was concerned for my pain. If I needed anything, she never once made a comment. Just said ok and got it for me. She had an excellent beside manner which made me feel complete trust in her. I only hope I’ll have her as my nurse every time I am at Aurora.

From my past experiences of being in the ER here, Kelly went out of her way to be sure I was okay and not scared.

You could just see the care in her and that she very much likes her job and my husband feels the same way.

This is Kelly's second DAISY Award, she also was honored in December 2009.
