Kelly has worked in the Wound Center for almost 10 years and I have had the privilege of working with her of half of those years. There is not just "a" story for Kelly, but an everyday commitment to her patients. Kelly comes to work every day with a smile and greets her patients in the same fashion. The patients look forward to seeing Kelly and her positive aura relaxes the patients and allows them to feel at home. Her laugh is contagious, and her sense of humor creates an instant smile from patients. Kelly has gone above and beyond to make sure her patients have the basic needs met to live at home.
Kelly and her family raise cattle and on more than one occasion she has donated beef to a patient that did not have the financial stability to purchase food. Kelly puts others first and has a heart of gold. She meets all criteria to receive this award and anyone who has worked with her or works with Kelly would agree.
