Kelly showed an extreme willingness to help in any way possible. She provided resources for us when we got home. The physician and she checked with the pharmacy to make sure there wouldn't be any problems getting her pain medications so she would be comfortable until she could get an outpatient appointment. Kelly asked us about any other supplies we would need including a walker due to her severe back pain. She was concerned about fall prevention and for my mother in law's safety while ambulating. Kelly literally thought of EVERYTHING. When we left Kelly came out with us and even made sure my mother in law got into the car ok. As my husband, sister in law and I were standing there together outside discussing the events from the last few hours, we couldn't help but acknowledge the astounding care received from Kelly. Her positive attitude, hospitality, and genuine love of nursing truly impacted our stay in the emergency room that afternoon.
This is my mother in law's third round with cancer, so believe me when I say that we have had our fair share of hospitals, doctors, and nurses. Kelly has by far made the biggest impact on my mother in law and our family out of ALL of our experiences. She is truly a DAISY Nurse.
