Kelly at one point had no vehicle for a few months and walked over two miles one-way to work early in the morning and late at night just to ensure her patients were able to get their dialysis.
Kelly is one of the most dedicated and hardest working nurses in our area even though her primary title is facility administrator. Kelly goes above and beyond for her patients and team. She is all heart when it comes to our patients’ safety and well-being! She has stepped up during significant staffing challenges and now consistently takes care of patients every MWF for 15hrs a day to ensure they get the care they deserve. She never hesitates to work in a pod as a PCT, as a charge nurse, AA, or complete disinfection of her own water system each week.

One patient reached out to make it known that no matter how busy things seem or what is happening at the clinic nor what is going on behind the scenes, Kelly takes her jobs seriously and cares for her patients just as she would care for her own family. She took the time to sit and talk with this patient about some concerns she had, which eased her mind tremendously. This patient trusts in Kelly as her ‘head nurse’ and appreciates all she brings to the facility.
In addition, Kelly assists in staffing other clinics as the RN when needed. Kelly does whatever is needed to get the job done, always keeping her patients top of mind as they are her core ‘Why’. Words cannot express our gratitude for Kelly and her die-hard dedication to our patients and team! She works tirelessly day-in and day-out to ensure our patients receive the best care they deserve! She is a bright light amidst challenging times and continues to cheer everyone on; she pops up like a beautiful DAISY spreading joy. She is an amazing nurse and an even better human being living out our core values and spreading ripples! We celebrate Kelly as a caring, empathetic, Rock Star nurse!
